What is a dry transformer?

Transformers are created for use in electrical power generation and distribution facilities, whether commercial or industrial. 

The type of equipment will depend on the needs of each company. There are two types of transformers: submerged, also called oil transformers, and dry transformers.

The oil-filled transformer is used for medium and high voltage in power grids. The dry-type transformer, on the other hand, is used for medium and low voltage.
