Medium voltage transformers are ideal for industries, commercial businesses, hospitals, theaters, cinemas, performance venues, office buildings, stadiums, data centers, oil rigs, airports, mining operations, shopping malls, steel mills, biomass power generation, and even hydroelectric power generation.

The principle of medium-voltage electrical transformers consists of transmitting electrical energy or power from one circuit to another, through the induction of voltages, currents, and modification of electrical impedance values, by means of a magnetic field.

Regarding the construction of Medium Voltage Transformers: The core is made of grain-oriented silicon steel sheets with a Step-lap cut, ensuring reduced losses and noise levels. High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) coils are made of high-purity aluminum conductors and wound continuously, minimizing mechanical stress, and are encapsulated in epoxy resin under a high vacuum, thus eliminating the presence of microbubbles and minimizing the partial discharge index. All transformers are tested in accordance with ABNT NBR 5356-11 and shipped with their respective test reports.
